aqua 17.2 – next Level Test Management!
Software quality assurance enters the next stage: Our test management software aqua again receives many additional features in the new update, which make testing much easier. The aqua Web-Client is also brought closer to our proven Desktop-Client.

You can easily log in to the Web-Client with your existing access data. The aqua Web-Client works perfectly with the aqua Desktop-Client.

The innovations in aqua 17.2 in detail:

	More transparency: Add attachments to individual test steps In the new version of our test management software, you can add attachments such as error logs, build-up plans or even CAD drawings directly to individual test steps. Even during the test case execution, appropriate attachments can now be added directly to test steps.
	More overview and traceability: Simplified dependencies in the aqua Web-Client Use aqua 17.2 to create additional, dependent elements (eg test cases) directly in various elements (for example, in requirements or errors). You can also create defects directly in the test case. In the newly created defect, a link is automatically created to the appropriate test case. If a test step is unsuccessful, aqua now also automatically proposes the creation of a defect by showing an information bar. In all elements, the dependent elements are now displayed graphically. In elements, an icon is displayed at all points within the navigation bar, if content is available.
	Simplified re-testing: Check defects from previous test cases during the current execution If a test step is reached during the test procedure which contained an error in the last test, an info bar is now displayed in the Web-Client. This allows you to edit the status of the corresponding error and create a note.
	Faster processes: Test requirements and defects directly Test cases dependent on requirements and defects can now be executed directly from the respective element in the Web client via ‘test it!-button’.
	Practical and time-saving: Full text search The well-known and proven full-text search from the Desktop-Client is now also available in the Web-Client.
	More connectivity: Inform project members about requirements, test cases and defects In the notification settings, you now have the possibility to configure exactly which user should be notified in which cases, when changing elements in the project.
	Everything in sight: Cross-Project reporting Summarize meaningful KPIs and results from different projects into one report with the new version of our test management software. Condition is a shared project template.
	More speed: Web-Client operation via the keyboard By pressing the F10 Key, the aqua Web-Client can now be operated using keyboard shortcuts.
