aqua 17.1 – Release

We proudly present: aqua 17.1!
The new version of our test management software comes with great innovations and extensive improvements. Especially the aqua WebClient, already released with version 17, receives great additional features. This makes aqua even more flexible and accessible to the entire team. Use the full potential of quality assurance for your projects that aqua offers you. Now also accross systems directly in your browser!

If you already have access to aqua, you can easily log in to the WebClient using your existing access data. The aqua web system works seamlessly with the proven aqua desktop version. This means that any changes you make in one system are immediately and uncomplicated available in the other.

The innovations in version 17.1 in detail:

aqua WebClient

The creation of new projects is now possible directly in the WebClient. Thus, a complete change to aqua web can be done! To make this step easier, the WebClient with version 17.1 has many new features:

	Connectivity and transparency: integration of user management Create new users, edit or delete existing ones, everything is now possible in aqua web.
	Efficient and customizable: Integration of the field configuration Freely configure which buttons are displayed in which status, for which users and in which area. Just as it is already possible in the rich client, it is now also in aqua web.
	Intuitive and flexible: Integration of workflow configuration Define which status may be changed to which other status and who is authorized to do so. In addition: Declare, which fields and buttons are displayed at which time and if they are mandatory fields or optional. The WebClient offers full scope for action.
	Integration of requirements management (in basic functions) Properties of requirements can now be edited in aqua web. Descriptions can be added and expanded in rich text format. Thus descriptions with pictures in the WebClient are now possible.
	Add attachments Regardless of whether errors, requirements, test cases or scenarios: As in the Rich Client, attachments can now also be added in the WebClient.
	German surface aqua is now available in German and English
	The english aqua Wiki is now accessable by a button in aqua Web
